a very special dinner

Per il nostro anniversario (quel lontano 21 marzo 2004 che cadeva di sabato e quindi di goth party..) Marco ha avuto un idea (per me) folle, una cena nel miglior ristorante di Montecatini Terme, per me che sono da pizza al taglio (e dopo un finesettimana in cui abbiamo viziato i nostri palati in tutti i modi possibili) è stato un bel salto in un'altra dimensione!

For our anniversary (that distant March 21, 2004 which fell on Saturday and then the gothparty ..)Markhad an idea(for me) crazy, a dinner in the bestrestaurantin Montecatini Terme, for me being from pizza slices (and after aweekendin whichwe havespoiled our palates in all possible ways) was aleapinto another dimension!

Questo ristorante si trova all'interno dell'Hotel Ercolini Savi, un posto davvero suggestivo e d'altri tempi ; i piatti del ristorante invece incontrano il gusto più contemporaneo, cucina italiana, mediterranea, europea. Servizio curatissimo, porzioni abbondanti.. Consigliato!

This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Ercolini Savi, a really impressive place, and of the past; the dishes of the restaurant instead meet the contemporary taste, Italian, Mediterranean, European. extremely attentive service, generous portions .. Recommended!

Ovviamente ho passato il tardo pomeriggio di ieri sommersa da vestiti, idee e cambi di idee. Alla fine sono andata sul classico.. Un abito nero a balze, portato come scamiciato (lo sapete già che sono freddolosa e quando c'è da mangiare sono sempre a rischio congestione?!), la maglietta a righe l'avete già vista (anche il vestito ha fatto varie comparsate nel mio blog, oltre che nella mia vita), niente di nuovo neanche per il resto... collant, borsa, stivali.. Tutto ben collaudato! Lo stile vagamente charleston! Così, sotto il segno di questa vintage dance sono nate queste foto.. Buone sghignazzate!

Of course I spent the late afternoon yesterday flooded with clothes, ideas and exchange of ideas. Eventually I went on the classic .. Questo finesettimana è stato motlo mangereccio. La scusa di vedere vecchi amici, una cena di beneficienza, la fame dopo uno stage di Lindy Hop e poi l'anniversario.. Insomma, l'importante è mangiare!
In ordine, siamo stati.. venerdì cena tipica toscana al Casorino. sabato cena di beneficienza in un luogo molto paesano, dove ha trionfato la pizza. Domenica dopo il lindy hop presso l'Antico Caffé delle Mura, cenetta in un ristorante bavarese... Fame e noia alla larga! E ora DEVO ASSOLUTAMENTE DIMAGRIRE e rimettermi in forma!

..ma anche pensare e fare ordine, nei cassetti e nei meandri della mente... il risveglio mi fa venire sonno e se fuori sembra arrivata la primavera dentro di me è iniziato un improvviso inverno, voglia di starmene tranquilla con un libro, magari un buon libro (ho appena divorato "Viaggio al centro della terra" di Verne e mi è venuta voglia di avventure impossibili!) oppure i miei amici animali, che siano gatti, cavalli e galline!

Finalmente un'azienda italiana che conosco e stimo da anni (perché la Rigoni d'Asiago fa prodotti di qualità, perché mi rammenta uno dei miei scrittori preferiti, perché nel 2008 in giro per l'Altopiano di Asiago ci siamo visti materializzare questa fabbrica immersa nel verde e nella bellezza dei boschi, segno che produzione non fa sempre coppia con degrado, almeno quando si vuole e quando c'è rispetto di quello che ci nutre..).. Insomma dopo mesi di astinenza (da quando a giugno 2015 abbiamo chiuso la porta a tutti i prodotti contenenti Olio di Palma (poi se voi volete fidarvi di pubblicità sponsorizzate da grandi multinazionali senza scrupoli, fate pure...) finalmente un prodotto goloso con cui posso fare colazione e merenda, malgrado la mia intolleranza ai latticini..perchè... oltre a non avere olio di palma tra i suoi ingrediente, non contiene nemmeno latte: EVVIVA!!!

Anche la Serena può tornare a spalmare una crema alle nocciole sul buon pane ai cereali (magari fatto da Marco!) ;)-

Enfin, une société italienne connue et estimée pendant des années (parce que Rigoni de Asiago fabrique des produits de qualité, car il apporte me rappelle un de mes écrivains préférés, car en 2008 autour du plateau d'Asiago, nous avons rencontré matérialiser cette usine entourée de verdure et la beauté de la bois, un signe que la production ne sont pas toujours de pair avec la dégradation, au moins quand vous voulez et quand il y a le respect de ce qui nous nourrit ..) .. donc, après des mois d'abstinence (quand en Juin 2015, nous a fermé la porte à tous les produits contenant l'huile de palme (plus tard si vous voulez faire confiance la publicité parrainée par grande multinationale sans scrupules, aller de l'avant ...), enfin un produit délicieux avec lequel je peux prendre le petit déjeuner et une collation, en dépit de mon lait intolérance, parce que ... en plus de ne pas avoir l'huile de palme parmi ses ingrédients, ne contient pas de même du lait: HOORAY !!!

Même Serena peut aller frotter une crème de noisette sur le bon pain de grains (peut-être fait par Marco!);)

Eccomi con delle foto e qualche video della cena (con ghiotto buffet!) e festa vintage organizzata da Jump Jive per chi segue il corso di boogie. Ci siamo proprio divertiti, lo potete vedere da soli! Io sono di corsa, e nonostante qualche festa e delle belle camminate in montagna, queste settimane sono abbastanza terribili ma... bisogna resistere! Purtroppo capita anche che qualche gattino (nero) si senta un po' trascurato e Marco, che ha cambiato look, faccia deri sorrisi alla Horst Tappert (sorrisi che il mitico Ispettore Derrick di solito riserva ai bifolchi bavaresi, mi devo preoccupare!?)

Non si può dire di apprezzare un bel vestito di Chanel o Dior e poi sostenere l'energia nucleare; allo stesso modo chi dice di avere stile e buon gusto (o chi pretende di farci credere che ce l'ha!) non può non fare qualcosa per salvare il salvabile, limitare i danni, fare qualcosa per proteggere una bellezza assoluta e preziosa come il mare.

Le ragioni del NO sono patetiche, destinate al popolino medio-mediocre, attaccato solo al soldo, destinato a restare con le toppe al culo (scusate il toscanismo!).

Insomma, mettete il vostro abito più carino e la tessera elettorale nella it-bag e fatevi un bel selfie (lo voglio vedere domani!) e poi... correte a votare, e magari VOTATE SI!

...o referendario, delusa ma neanche tanto, gli italiani mi hanno delusa da tanto, troppo tempo (semmai sono delusa da me stessa, perché per questo referendum non sono riuscita a combinare nulla, e il buon vecchio comitato dei "disadattati"è andato a farsi friggere... ma la vita è dura, la vita stanca e le delusioni "raccattate" in questi anni pesano un po'..).

Come cittadina però ho l'animo sereno, ho fatto il mio dovere. Ho espresso la mia opinione, ho dato valore ad uno strumento prezioso, anzi due (voto e referendum) e a tutto quello che gli gira intorno (si sa, tutto ha un costo e in tempo di sprechi anche i soldi per matite e schede elettorali hanno un loro perchè..), ma la maggioranza degli abitanti di questa Italia maltrattata hanno dato la precedenza ad altro..

Ecco una mini cronaca in foto della mia uscita dal seggio elettorale (che è sempre una scusa per mettere il naso nella mia cara, vecchia scuola elementare!).

Ringrazio il mio Marco per le belle foto nella mia campagna (stasera sono un tantino possessiva, oltre che ripetitiva:delusa, delusa, delusa... scusate!!!) ..

... Or referendum, disappointed but not too much, Italians have been disappointed by so much to me, too long (if anything, I'm disappointed with myself, because for this referendum I could not anything done, and good old of "misfits" committee He went down the drain ... but life is hard, the tired life and "picked up on" disappointments in recent years weigh a bit '..).But as a citizen I have the equanimity, I have done my duty. Quest'anno il nostro modo di ricordare l'anniversario della Liberazione dal nazi-fascimo è stata prendere la strada dei boschi e tra paesaggi mutevoli e pieni di vita (si, la primavera sta arrivando anche in montagna!) abbiamo raggiunto un piccolo e tranquillo cimitero, dove regna il ronzio degli insetti e dove riposano due piccoli, grandi italiani: Elio e Floris, due partigiani, due patriotti morti a 19 anni combattendo il nemico nazista, due ragazzi nel fiore della vita, sorridenti e belli come pochi..

This year, the way we remember the anniversary of liberation from Nazi-fascism was to take the road of woods and among changing landscapes and full of life (yes, spring is coming even in the mountains) we reached a small, quiet cemetery where reigns the hum of insects and resting place of two small, great Italian Elio and Floris, two partisans, two patriots died 19 years fighting the Nazi enemy, two guys in the prime of life, smiling and beautiful, like a few ..

Ieri è tornata anche la neve: lassù sugli Appennini, qui arriva solo l'aria pungente e sana, il cielo è bellissimo e le foglie degli alberi sono di un verde tenero, un verde rilassante, così come gli insetti che riempiono i prati come i numerosi fiori, e soprattutto le farfalle..

Questa mattina, quando mi sono svegliata in questo 25 aprile, ero davvero triste, mi sono chiesta se aveva ancora valore per me questo giorno. Ogni anno è più difficile, la gente distratta, confusa e molto egoista, quest'anno poi, dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale, e quindi dall'istituzione del 25 aprile come data simbolo, non c'è più "il Biondino", il partigiano Aldo Michelotti, un combattente per la libertà (quella vera però!), uno che a 90 anni aveva l'entusiasmo, l'energia e l'attenzione per il futuro di un ragazzo di 20 anni, Aldo è stato presente e combattivo fino alla fine, se non si occupava dell'ANPI, allora currava il suo orto e nutriva i suoi tanti gatti... Il 21 aprile l'abbiamo salutato per l'ultima volta, poi un senso di "sbandamento"... Oggi camminare sui sentieri dei partigiani, in mezzo alla Natura, bellissima, mi ha riportato un po' di pace interiore, il percorso è ancora lungo..

Arrivati, dopo circa 3 km di cammino, al piccolo cimitero abbiamo lasciato dei fiori di acacia raccolti lungo il cammino sulle due tombe (io ho fatto un'eccezione: io non raccolgo mai i fiori, io penso che sia un crimine recidere i fiori, ma per questi due ragazzi l'ho fatto e la natura non si è arrabbiata con me, anzi...), poi abbiamo ascoltato una delle canzoni più significative della resistenza: "Dalle belle città.." una piccolo commemorazione per questi due giovani eroi, dopo abbiamo mangiato pane nero, baccelli e acqua nel silenzio di questo pacifico e pacificatore luogo.

Eccomi a raccontarvi anche del Primo Maggio, certo una festa poco popolare nel mondo dei blog, esattamente come il 25 aprile; ma si sa... l'avanguardia è sempre lontana dalla massa informe e annichilente del gregge. In questo periodo ho avuto molto da fare e molta poca fortuna con le connessioni internet (segno che... il futuro non è ancora qui!) e le solite cose artificiali (come lo shopping e le occasioni mondane) mi annoiano un po'; niente di grave: per me è ciclico, poi passa, ma resta il fatto che le uniche cose che mi appassionano sempre sono spesso colorate di rosso e verde, le bandiere rosse, gli alberi, i prati, i fiori, e le rose...

E sia... Maggio è il mese delle rose (guardate queste come sono belle, lungo la salita che porta al castello di Lari) e delle bandiere rosse..

Visto che in queste settimane ho passato più tempo alla casa A (motivo: la convalescenza della mia mamma dopo una piccola - ma fastidiosa - operazione chirurgica a un piede) ho avuto modo di ficcanasare con più calma tra le mie cose dimenticate negli armadi (forse, dopo tutto questo tempo, non sapete ancora che io collezione camere da letto e, quindi, armadi) .. tra le cose ritrovate questi due golfini tirolese (o altoatesini come dir si voglia, insomma quelli che si prendono tanti benefici dallo statuto speciale e parlano malissimo italiano), uno rosso e uno nero (o viceversa), entrambi sono regali dei miei nonni paterni. La mia nonna, soprattutto, amava lo stile tirolese (così in casa abbiamo molte simpatiche tovaglie in questo stile) e questi due golfini, dopo che non mi entravano più, gli ha riposti nel suo armadio e così sono arrivati intatti fino al 2016. Credo che risalgano ai primi anni '80, quasi quasi sono vintage e se dimagrisco magari almeno quello rosso dovrebbe entrarmi (anche se il mio preferito è quello nero!).

E dopo, sempre in un raro momento di riposo, ho fotografato un po' dei miei libri già letti (e talvolta riletti..), ora parlando di letture sono di nuovo in crisi; ho divorato: Il viaggio al centro della terra, Bubu di Montparnasse e Il Diavolo in Corpo poi mi sono arenata nella Morte a Venezia di Thomas Mann ... e la letteratura contemporanea la trovo per lo più noiosa...

Qualche settimana fa, una domenica, sole e libertà, unico punto fermo: mi metto questo vestito e questi stivali. Partiamo quasi senza una direzione (o forse un paio) e alla fine ci ritroviamo sulla stretta e verde strada che porta verso Croce a Brancoli, uno dei punti panoramici più suggestivi della montagna lucchese e forse molto di più...

A few weeks ago, a Sunday, sun and freedom, only fixed point: I wear this dress and these boots. We leave almost no direction (or maybe a few) and at the end we find ourselves on the narrow and green road leading to Croce in Brancoli, one of the most panoramic spots of Lucca mountains and perhaps much more ...

Lungo strada la nostra attenzione cade su un piccolo cimitero con un atmosfera molto gotica: noi non resistiamo alla tentazione di entrare e fare qualche foto... Il luogo si rivela molto evocativo, teschi,decorazioni e sculture in stile liberty, rendono un luogo di tristezza un piccolo e prezioso museo a cielo aperto dei primi del '900.

Alongside the road our attention falls on a small cemetery with a very gothic atmosphere: we can not resist the temptation to come in and take some pictures ... The site proves very evocative, skulls, art nouveau decorations and sculptures, make it a place of sadness small and precious open-air museum of the early '900.

Dopo questa breve sosta continuamo a salire, la strada si fa stretta e la città diventa sempre più piccola!

After this brief stop continue to go up, the road is narrow and the city gets smaller and smaller!

Anche qui ci sono tracce di alberi tagliati, questa è diventata una vera mania.. eppure gli alberi sono così preziosi (oltre che esseri viventi bellissimi), e dovrebbero esseri tutelati.. almeno quelli che si sono salvati dal brutto tempo.. Comunque l'inizio della nostra passeggiata è molto promettente, questo posto mi piace molto e dopo poco troviamo le tracce di quelle che sembrano delle trincee, anche in questo luogo passava la "linea gotica" tedesca durante la seconda guerra mondiale.

La strada è bellissima e si percorre bene anche con stivali inappropriati ai sentieri di montagna, in effetti questo percorso è un ottima via carreggiabile, inoltre è anche una lunghissima "via crucis". Per la verità, e in modo poco religioso, qui c'è stata realmente una via crucis molto faticolsa e dolorosa. Quella degli uomini italiani costretti a lavorare per la TODT, alla fine troveremo altre trincee tedesche, perfettamente conservate e anche risultate inutili ai fini della guerra; ugualmente furono causa di dolore per molti italiani.

The road is beautiful and go along well with boots inappropriate mountain paths, in fact this route is a good way carriageway, also is also a very long "Way of the Cross". For the truth, and in no way religious, here there was really a very difficult and painful way of the cross: that of Italian men forced to work for the Todt. At the end of our journey we will find other German trenches, perfectly preserved (and even proved useless in the war were also due to many Italians pain).

Il bosco sembra il regno delle fate e il panorama che si apre di fronte a noi è davvero mozzafiato: la valle del Serchio, le belle montagne della Garfagnana...

Eccoci arrivati alla nostra destinazione! La famosa "croce di Brancoli" ha qualcosa di missilistico, ma lasciamo stare... Inutile dire che qui l'attenzione viene catturata dalla vista sui monti, le Alpi Apuane (il famoso "uomo Morto"), ma anche Lucca e la sua pianura e la cornice dei Monti Pisani, dall'altra parte i monti della Garfagnana. E poi le trincee della Linea Gotica che ci ricordano come anche in questi luoghi ricchi di Natura e fascino sia passata una cosa tanto triste, violenta e inutile... E per ultimo... quassù ci sono tanti asparagi selvatici! Gnam!

We arrived at our destination! The famous "Brancoli cross" has something missile, but never mind ... Needless to say, here the attention is captured by the view of the mountains, the Apuan Alps (the famous "Dead Man"), but also Lucca and his plain and the frame of the Monti Pisani, on the other side of the mountains of Garfagnana. And then the trenches of the Gothic Line that remind us that even in these places full of nature and charm has passed something so sad, violent and useless ... And last up here ... there are so many wild asparagus! Yum!

Questa montagna viene chiamata "uomo morto" , nel film "Miracolo a Sant'Anna" di Spike Lee viene chiamato "l'uomo che dorme".

Quando andate in montagna non dimeticate mai una abbondante scorta di acqua! (e magari un panino, noi abbiamo fatto solo colazione e ormai per il pranzo è tardi!).

When you go in the mountains never forget an abundant supply of water! (And maybe a sandwich, we only had breakfast and now it is late for lunch!).

E siamo di nuovo in auto, direzione... casa, ne approfitto per farvi vedere un po' di campagna e qualche bellezza architettonica nella campagna intorno a Lucca. Questa lunga passeggiata per me è stata una vera scoperta, non ero mai stata qui e mi è piaciuta molto: grazie Marco!

Capita un pomeriggio libero e la prospettiva di una pizza con una coppia di amici che non vediamo da un po' di tempo; sembra tutto perfetto ma poi una domanda mi fa scoppiare il mal di testa (urge un caffé!) "cosa mi metto stasera?!"
Parto da una maglietta a righe che è il mio tormentone del momento..
Esce fuori da un'altra dimensione uno scamiciato nero dei tempi dell'università..
Passa di lì anche un abito a righe in stile vagamente charleston... righe più righe, sicuramente eccessivo ma per giocare un po'è perfetto...
Intanto passa il mal di testa e oso di più...

Questa gonna con le frange è un regalo di Natale (grazie Marco!!), mentre il top di pizzo risale a qualche era geologica fa... Oso le gambe nude per far contente le appassionate del beige (io, finché il meteo lo permette, preferisco calze e collant, che la pelle nuda è abbastanza noiosa), il risultato mi piace ma forse per una pizza in un locale di motociclisti è eccessivo, ma lo terrò presente per la prossima festa!

This skirt with fringes is a Christmas present (thank you Marco !!), while the lace top goes back a few geological era ago ... I dare bare legs to make happy the passionate beige (me, as long as the weather permits I prefer tights and stockings, which bare skin is quite boring), I like the result but maybe for a pizza at a local biker is overkill, but I'll keep this for your next party!

Tra che ci siamo devo tirare fuori anche la ventaglia di piume viola e dall'armadio sbuca un vestito nero americano per le feste americana, ma forse è meglio rimetterlo al suo post... Il mal di testa è passato (grazie caffé!) ma sono ancora in alto mare! Aiutatemi, per favore!!!!

Per fortuna arriva il primo aiuto: il mio gatto Nerone (che indica: sobrietà!) , ma non so se io capisco.. così cambio di nuovo abbigliamento: l'abito (si, lo so.. anche questo l'avete già visto molte volte..!) verde ins tile anni'70, un po' boho, questa volta lo indosso con una sottile cintura borchiata viola, (sono così belle le melanzane nell'orto in mezzo alle foglie verdi, che secondo me viola e verde sono perfetti insieme), e poi arriva il secondo aiuto: Marco... Ho deciso, uscirò così... e abbiamo trascorso un piacevole venerdì sera, pizza ottima e dopo il favoloso gelato de "Le Bontà" di Lucca, che per noi è una vera droga (i amo il gusto "bontanella"!).. mentre qualcuno è bellissimo sempre e si gode la vita in perfetto relax! Evviva i gatti!

Ecco di nuovo il vestito a righe che avete già visto qualche giorno fa e che possiedo da una vita, questa volta l'ho indossato per andare a fare la spesa alla Coop! L'ho ravvivato con un paio di collant rossi e ho messo delle scarpe che avevo dimenticato da quasi cinque anni in una scatola... Un'altra novità è la spilla dei "Human race" un gruppo punk di Roma che, insieme ai mitici Giuda, abbiamo visto venerdì sera al Theremin (ex baraonda), nonostante il diluvio universale che si è abbattuto su di noi..

In questi giorni si è riaccesa la mia passione per gli anni'20 , grazie anche alla serie TV "Boardwalk Empire", la stiamo divorando, siamo già alla terza stagione e facciamo le ore piccole immaginando di fare foto in stile Nucky sul passerella di Lido di Camaiore oppure sulla spiaggia di viareggio con, alle nostre spalle, il Salone Margherita in perfetto stile liberty..!!

In these days has rekindled my passion for the 20s, thanks to TV "Boardwalk Empire series", we're eating, we are already in its third season and we do the small hours imagining make Nucky style photo on boardwalk at Lido di Camaiore or Viareggio on the beach with, behind us, the Salone Margherita in perfect Art Nouveau style .. !!

Ma mentre sognamo il glamour degli anni '20 , ascoltiamo gruppi punk piuttosto arrabbiati e viviamo tempi che ricordano tristemente la Belle Epoque, con tutti i suoi specchi per le allodole e le sue tristi soluzioni... e, appunto, noi andiamo a fare la spesa...schiavi come tanti altri del consumismo... Però questa volta abbiamo avuto una bella sorpresa, oppure una conferma: gli scaffali vuoti della Coop, che ha ritirato tutti i suoi prodotti contenenti olio di palma, una scelta etica, al passo coi tempi e soprattutto in linea col principio di precauzione applicato (per nostra fortuna) in Italia, almeno finchè le multinazionali non vorranno diversamente (leggi TTIP).

è il caso di dirlo: AUGURI!

But while we dream the Glamour '20s , we listen punk bands rather angry and times we live sadly reminiscent of the Belle Epoque, with all its paper tigers and its sad solutions ... and, of course, we are going to do spending ... slaves of consumerism like many others ... Sabato sera siamo stati a Prato per il solito dark party a tema, il tema era "pictures Of You", la musica non mi ha entusiasmato molto, e così è capitato di riposarci più del solito, molto strano per noi riposare a una festa di questo genere..

Saturday night we were in Prato for the usually dark-themed party, the theme was "pictures Of You", the music was not fond of me, and so it happened more rest than usual, very strange for us to rest in a party this kind..

Marco, con la nuova maglietta degli "Human Race" era davvero molto new wave, io ero indeciso e come al solito ho improvvisato e cambiato le mie scelte all'ultimo minuto: gonna vagamente in stile charleston e un top coi pipistrelli comprata anni fa ad un festival di musica di strada nella campagna toscana. Marco ha una passione per le calze velate, io ho sempre paura che si rompano. Io adoro le calze rotte se sono a rete o colorate ma... le calze rotte velate sono un po' tristi secondo me... Comunque alla fine della festa erano ancora intere! Evvai!

Marco, with the new T-shirt "Human Race" was really very new wave, I was indecisive and as usual I improvised and changed my choices at the last minute: skirt vaguely in charleston style and a top with bats bought years ago to a street music festival in the Tuscan countryside. Marco has a passion for stockings, I'm always afraid they fail. I love the socks routes if they are to network or colored but ... the stockings veiled routes are a bit 'sad for me ... However at the end of the party were still whole! Yay!
